A Snail's Ride Original Drawing on pattern collage

I call this piece A Snail's Ride based on the classic depictions of medieval rabbits riding snails with battle axes. This brown bunny remembers the bravery of his ancestors as he tries to muster the courage to steal a crocus bulb. The background is a collage of patterns from my medieval pattern collection which include my own damask based on these axe wielding rabbits. The rabbit and crocuses are drawn with colored pencil over the top of the collage.

This piece measures 8 x 10 inches mounted on canvas panel and has been treated with fixative to last for generations. Comes signed on the back with title. Black plastic frame included, which brings the measurements up to 8.75 x 10.75 inches.
