Does my gold overwhelm
in the pastel realm
where peaceful pinks and
cloudy blues
coexist with more tranquil
hues?
The teal apple lures my beak
where the core my soul shall
seek.
The path is crisp and sour and
sweet,
juicy too, anything but neat.
Brazen Canary is part of my series called BirdCore 2. Each piece in BirdCore has a little poem associated with it about the process of discovering who you really are at your core.
