I match this apple through and
through
it flames just like my
feathers do.
While birds of royal plumage
fly
in martial rows with vicious
eye
I watch the fruit they try to
guard
await my chance across the
yard
to dart and burst and bust the
peel
of this divine and peerless
meal.
