Not A Beast Original Drawing on pattern collage

The first piece I created in my Death vs Rabbit series, this image depicts a gray hare encountering a strange skull. He wonders what kind of beast this is, and if it can be found in the bestiary, while simultaneously wondering why he is not listed in the bestiary. The background is a collage of patterns from my medieval pattern collection which include my own bestiary pattern, and one consisting of rosettes on a golden background. The hare and skull are drawn with colored pencil over the top of the collage.

This piece measures 8 x 10 inches and is mounted on canvas panel. The short sides are painted with gold acrylic, and the piece has been treated with fixative to last for generations. Comes signed on the back with title. Black plastic frame included, which brings the measurements up to 8.75 x 10.75 inches.
