We are all born containing all colors, yet we tend to separate some as good and others as bad. We hope no one notices our dark colors, and keep them hidden even from ourselves. Being human means we are created both from base desires and spiritual goals: two different parts of the rainbow meeting together to make us complete. When we can accept that our existence is only made possible because of an alignment of opposites, when we can accept paradox, we will feel whole and capable of living up to our divine purpose.

When I created Rainbow Robin I was thinking deeply about the reconciliation of internal opposites, about shadow work, and wondering why it seemed my conscious and unconscious minds wanted such different things. Most of us are that way, but the path to working true magic lies in the reconciliation of your internal opposites. It is my hope that this piece can hang on your wall to remind you of that, and that soon you will crack out of your own shell blazing with the light of your renewed wholeness.

This is a fine art giclee print of the original drawing on archival Somerset Velvet paper, a very soft art paper. Measures 6x9 inches plus a half inch border.
