Roots Underground Original Drawing on pattern collage

We are all nourished by the bones of our ancestors via the cycle of life. This brown bunny contemplates it all in his attempt to be less afraid of humans. This is an original colored pencil drawing on collage made from my own patterns. These patterns come from my medieval collection inspired by the backgrounds found in illuminated manuscripts. The drawing is mounted on canvas and painted with gold acrylic on the edges and sides, with some intentional spillover onto the front for some shabby sparkle.

This piece measures 9 x 12 inches and has been treated with fixative to last for generations. Comes signed on the back with title.
