Winter From Above digital book

This book was written while Juliana was working on the Paper Puppet Opera production of Franz Schubert's song cycle Winterreise, or Winter Journey. Through 24 meditations the author and the ghost of Schubert wander through winter trading insights into romantic rejection, loss, and the inability to accept love for what it is. This dark and sexy musical fairy tale illuminates earthly trauma from the perspective of spirit. Why do we incarnate just to experience excruciating pain? This book can't offer an answer, but it can offer one possible viewpoint.

This is the first book in what will become a series of spiritual meditations with Schubert's ghost, each based on a different song cycle. Included are the original German texts of Wilhem Müller's poems along with English translations by the author.
